MIKE GRANDMAISON is truly one of Canada’s finest nature photographers. His award-winning work has been published worldwide, appearing in National Geographic, Canadian Geographic, GEO, as well as Audubon, Wyman Publishing, Canada Post, and Friesens publications to name a few. He studied biology at Laurentian University, working thereafter in water quality as well as forest entomology and pathology. Mike then turned his attention to professional photography in 1996. Camera steadfastly in hand, he has explored the breadth of his beloved country and the province he has called home for over thirty years. Mike has authored fourteen books, including: Canada, The Canadian Rockies, Georgian Bay, Muskoka, Mike Grandmaison’s Prairie and Beyond, The St. Boniface Cathedral, Mike Grandmaison’s Ontario and Beautiful Alberta.
